Bear is a calm and docile senior who loves to cuddle and enjoys the companionship of many species. He gets along well with other ferrets, cats and dogs. He also does well with older children.

Bear recently was diagnosed with a common treatable condition in older ferrets called insulinoma. He takes an oral medication for this twice a day and has responded wonderfully to this low-maintenance treatment. Despite this health concern, he loves to play and appears otherwise healthy. He is easy-going and lovable. Bears best friend is Cheerio and they must be adopted together.
