Bacardi was found 12/31/06 on the side of the road digging through garbage with Dante, his brother. They were both very underweight and only 11 months old! Poor babies!

Bacardi is doing very well now and has put on weight. He is now 12 months old and weighs about 10 lbs. He has been dewormed, vaccinated and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He will be neutered prior to adoption. He is leash trained, crate trained and almost house trained! He’s a very smart boy!

He is very sweet and has a laid-back personality. Bacardi loves attention and cuddling, but also has an independent side. He is great with dogs, cats, adult humans, and adores kids - he even shares his food and toys with the other animals.

Inside only homes need apply. Bacardi is a small fellow and enjoys being inside where it is warm and safe with his family. He enjoys wearing sweaters and jackets while taking walks, but then he’s ready to head back in!
