Hobie is an excellent 9 year old red brindle Greyhound. He is a very big boy at 86 lbs. I am only looking to place him if the "right home" comes along. A home check, vet references, adoption fee, and adoption forms are required.

The right home would consist of someone familiar with the breed and has plenty of time to spend with him. This person would need to have plenty of patience and little "chaos" in the house. He likes to stick to a routine and gets very upset with change. Storms upset him, but his anxiety is very easily controlled with HomeoPet Anxiety Drops.

Hobie has been abused in the past and caged for years, so he is fearful of men at times. One minute he loves on them and the next he runs and jumps in fear. If you love Greyhounds and have the right environment (little chaos) he is a big sweetheart!

Hobie was officially adopted by his foster mom, Meredith, on Friday December 17th, 2004!!! Yay for Meredith and Hobie!! Hobie has been so happy and normal at Meredith's house, it just wouldn't be right for him to be anywhere else!
