Meet Eeyore & Zora!
Zora (mom) & Eeyore (dad) were purchased by a young man who wanted to save them from being snake food. He thought they were the same sex until Zora gave birth to 6 sweet little babies. Well, dad must have bred her right away because 4 weeks later, she gave birth to 7 more babies. Yes, they can impregnate mom immediately post birth! Obviously, this was too much for one person to take on so the family reached out to CARE for help.
Zora and Eeyore have completed their parental duties, are spayed/neutered and healed. These two are eager to start their happy ever after! They are a bonded pair & must be adopted together. Both are very sweet and gentle. If interested, please apply today.
Adoption Fee: $120/Bonded Pair If not already on our website, please visit www.caretoadopt.org to view the complete pet profile & download the adoption application. Completed applications should be emailed to caretoadopt@gmail.com.
Breeds are our best guess based on experience and research. To learn about proper rabbit care and why bonded pairs are often best, please visit: www.rabbit.org.
All rabbits receive an exam, dewormer, topical treatment for possible fleas, mites & heartworms, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. We feed a variety of high quality grass hays, fresh vegetables, Oxbow Rabbit pellets (timothy based for adults), and some fruits. NO vaccines are given at this time as it is not approved in the US. This day will come, so keep current with a quality rabbit vet and www.rabbit.org. All of these expenses, often over months, cost a lot more than the adoption fee. Many vets charge $120 to $700 for rabbit neuter/spay alone. We are nonprofit and have to make up some of the costs through adoption fees in addition to accepting donations and fundraising.
