Xena, the tri-colored puppy, and her littermates were born 2 days before Thanksgiving 2007. Their mother was dumped on a very sweet man in Winnsboro, SC while she was still pregnant. Thank goodness he was willing to care for all of them and is trying to find them homes. We have joined forces with him to help them get good quality homes.

Xena was squeezed into one of our foster homes. She is a sweet, but shy Collie/Shepherd mix puppy. She does best with women, but will eventually warm up to men. She may not do well with children since she is so shy and does not live with any in her foster home. She does do well with childern at adoption days.

Xena is about 24 lbs. right now. Our guess is she will be around 40-50 lbs. as an adult. Her coat is short, so she will need little grooming.

She has been dewormed, given tapeworm medication, spayed, put on monthly heartworm medication, and vaccinated for: Distemper/Parvo (1st, 2nd & 3rd booster), Kennel Cough, and Rabies. All of this is included in her adoption fee.
