Sasha is a 4 year old, Dilute Calico Japanese Bobtail. She needs someone who will be dedicated to her for life and understands her breed. Japanese Bobtails are known for good luck, adapting quickly, speaking when spoken to, having a kitten-like personality, fetching and carrying toys around, and so much more! This breed usually loves dogs and is fearless in most situations. They are simply fantastic!
We do not know how Sasha will do with children. She is a very curious girl and loves to "borrow" items she finds in the house. Everything is a toy to her! Please research this breed before applying. Japanese Bobtails do not do well without a feline playmate. Sasha is no exception to this unique quality. They take time to adjust to new cats, like any cat, but become fast friends. Once they choose their friend(s), they usually do not want to let anyone else in their group. This is important for any adopter to know and for determining if she is a fit for you. We will not adopt her out as an only cat. All cats receive a distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, FELV/FIV Combo Test, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. Out-of-state adoptions: Once approved, adopters from states other than SC MUST come claim the pet themselves and transport the animal home with them. No other arrangements will be made. *****CARE does not have a physical shelter. We foster these animals in our private homes. We are usually unable to return calls during the week due to our full schedules with work, family and the animals we care for. Please email us an Adoption Form if you are interested in this pet and we'll be happy to get the ball rolling. Pets are shown by appointment after completed adoption forms are received and approved.More about SashaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats Adoption saves lives!
