Evie was found as a puppy abandoned in downtown Augusta, GA. She lives in foster care with both dogs and cats. Evie is a 1 year old female Australian Shepherd/Dutch Shepherd mix. She weighs about 33 lbs.

She a is very well behaved, playful, and loving girl. Her foster mom describes her as "very smart, gentle and affectionate." She loves to play fetch with other dogs.

Evie is wonderfully housebroken and crate trained. In fact, she loves her crate and sleeps in it at night. Evie is NOT a problem dog, but would be even more amazing if her adopters would take her to doggie school. She would be fun to take to class and would make her family proud. She would also do well in agility. This girl just wants to please people and sit on your lap!

Evie has been examined, dewormed, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

This girl is simply fantastic and would make a perfect lifelong companion. If you're missing that special bond, this girl is for you!

We are usually unable to return calls during the week due to our full schedules with work, family and the animals we care for.
