DISTINGUISHING TRAITS...
Maestro is extremely affectionate. He is a Velcro Dog who wants to be close to his people whenever possible. He does great at the dog park and is sweet with cats and children.
HOME/FAMILY LOOKING FOR...
Maestro is looking for a home where he will get lots of love and cuddles. He will be your constant companion and follow you to the ends of the Earth if necessary.
Maestro and his two sisters originally came to us as babies from a shelter in Gaston. Their mom was severely emaciated and could not provide adequate milk for them. Maestro was adopted in 2009, but circumstances beyond anyone's control have put him in need of a new home. He's been well-cared for, gone through a Basic Obedience class, and he's been DNA tested. His DNA is Jack Russell Terrier and Collie. He does like to tuck his legs under his body like a JRT!
If you think Maestro could be The One for you, contact us today. This write-up describes his IDEAL home, but please contact us if you are interested, even if that doesn't describe you. It is impossible to fully describe a pet in a brief write-up, so a conversation is best!
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. We do adopt out of state if all vetting is complete. The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.
