Sweet Georgia Brown is pure sugar
Georgia is adorable, and she adores people. She has never met a stranger. When she meets someone new, her whole back side wags. She looks adoringly at you hoping you will pet her. Everyone who meets her adores her right back and comment on what a great dog she is! At home, she likes to be where she can see her foster mom. She doesn't get under foot; she just lies down in a spot nearby where she can see you. She rides great in the car, and while she hasn't yet been trained in formal obedience, she listens very well. She already knows Sit and is working on learning other commands. She is crate trained and housetrained. She loves to play with toys and balls. Georgia is a "power chewer" so she needs powerful toys like the Kong. Georgia gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, including a little 10 pound dog. She's as sweet as a box of chocolates with none of the calories!
Click to learn more about the American Pit Bull Terrier and see if it's the right breed for you. Of course, breed mixes are always our best guess based on our experience with all types of dogs. Georgia has a bulldogg-y muzzle that makes us think American Bulldog. She also has rear dew claws which occur in the herding breeds, and a short plush coat not found in APBTs and ABs, so there may even be some Border Collie in there! Only a DNA test could tell for sure, but that's our guess. What we do know for sure is that she's a very sweet dog with a beautiful face, whatever she is! All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
